Private Stock is an “unselected, ungraded” cigar. This simply means that the finished hand-rolled cigars are not sorted according to the finest color nuances of their outer leaves. The colors and diameters can differ slightly, and the tobacco mixtures can vary slightly.

The quality of a Private Stock is not affected by these differences. It gives you the smoking enjoyment ensured by the Dominican tobacco plantations around Santiago.

An innovation in the cigar world. In the final stage of making hand-made long filler cigars, the ends of any cigars which are longer than the prescribed format are cut off. The Medium Filler cigars are made from the “cuts” as well as whole wrapper leaves and binders from Ecuadorian Connecticut tobaccos. The result is a consistent blend of aroma and strength. Along with the cuts, half a San Vicente tobacco leaf is also rolled into each cigar. This improves the structure of the cigar, enhances the character of the blend and ensures that the cigar develops a pleasing, compact ash when smoked.
