The Cohiba Coronas Especiales is a legendary slender panetela that holds a significant place in Habanos history. Introduced in 1969 as part of the original trilogy of Cohiba vitolas, it was famously used as a diplomatic gift by Fidel Castro before becoming commercially available in 1982. It features the Laguito No. 2 factory vitola, complete with the brand's iconic pigtail cap. Like all Linea Clasica Cohibas, its filler leaves undergo a unique third fermentation in wooden barrels, yielding an incredibly smooth profile with immense depth.
